Bawat BaaS - Ballast as a Service provides a contingency, port-side ballast water treatment solution.
We ensure that the ballast water from vessels with inoperable or non-compliant systems can treat their ballast water and discharge it safely. This ensures that the ballast water discharged in harbours and ports are treated for invasive biological pathogens.
How do we do it?

Bawat's Technology
Bawat's Ballast Water Treatment Technology is the simplest and most efficient single-pass technology in the world. Based on a proven pasteurization process, this technology uses standard components and systems that are widely used and understood in the maritime space, making it simple, easy, and cost efficient to own and operate.
The technology does not use filters, UV, chemicals, or other additives that create an additional burden of treatment for discharge.
CASE STUDY
Execution of the very first US port 3rd Party Ballast as a Service (BaaS) project was made in June 2022. Using a mobile, containerized, BWTS from Bawat the job was performed with a customer in Louisiana for multiple vessels.
